Short Bio & Credentials
Jenny Harrod attended East Carolina University, graduating with a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance in 2019 with the honor of Magna Cum Laude. While there, she performed in masterclasses with Mimi Stillman, Erika Boysen, and Matthew Roitstein, among others. In 2017, she was the winner of her division in the Raleigh Area Flute Association's annual Review & Contest.
Playing is a great passion for Jenny, as shown by her participation in over half a dozen ensembles over the course of her years at East Carolina. Some of these were the Symphony Orchestra, the Wind Ensemble, flute choir, and other woodwind chamber ensembles, often as principal. In addition, she is well versed in music theory, and tutored the subject for multiple semesters.
